Ten Things Clay Loves

I was tagged by my dear friend Jade from the Windy City on the Coast to name 10 things that Clay loves... so without further ado....

1. Serving God
When we found out about the job openings here at HLCCC Clay was so exceited. He loves working hard and serving God and His people. We know we are truly blessed to be a part of such a great work.

2. His Family
Clay loves his parents and sibs, my parents and sibs, all of our grandparents, neices and nephews... for example, my sister Julie and her kids were her for their evacucation from Hurrican Ike and while they were here Julie, Halie and I went to see our sister/aunt Johanna while she was in the hospital. Clay volunteered to watch the two little ones. While we were gone, he and his parents took the kids fishing and to watch the deer! They all had so much fun together :)

3. Games
Board/card/domino/video games are a favorite past time of Clay's. Monolopy is his favorite, but he also enjoys Scrabble, Rummikube, Nertz, Tx. Hold Em, 42, and any game on his PS3.

3. FOOTBALL!
Oh my goodness! This guy can tell you the name of anyone who ever did anything if it had something to do with football. He knows all of the schools and their mascots, head coaches names and where the quarterback is from. If there are four football games on TV you can bet we will be watching ALL of them! He flips back and forth and keeps up with the going ons of each team. Not to mention he played in college.

4. Mexican Food
Clay loves mexican food! He would eat it for every meal, if he had the choice. We were having a conversation the other day about how every restaurant in Texas should offer chips and salsa as an appatizer since it is labeled as the state snack!

5. Our Pups
Although it took a bit of begging on my end to get our first dog Jubilee, he had no trouble inviting Chance into our lives (and our small apartment) after he realized how much loving, fun, and fun loving dogs can be!

6. Water sports
Although we don't go out on the lake very much, this past labor day we spent the entire day out on the lake. It was a blast! As I recall, after one adventerous trip around the lake behind a crazy driver clay stated "Gary tried to kill us!!!!..... It was Awesome!!!"

7. Bike riding
This is his newest love... on our days off we have been riding the 7 mile loop in the park.

8. Racquetball
Although we dont get to play much any more, this is still something he enjoys doing.

9. The Dish Room
As a joke our second summer here at HLCCC we made a game out of the dish room to see who was the best/quickest dish washer out of the SMT's. It was this big competition thing and clay loves to be competitive. Well, I should say that he's not competitive, he just likes to win. Although it has been 4 years since then, we still cannot drag him out of there!

10. Hunting
He's got camo that covers him from head to toe, dead down wind scent cover up, and an awesome bow... what more can I say...

I tag Kari, Charity, and Jenny B.
